Maciej Stroynowski

Maciej Stroynowski is a Polish pianist, chamber musician, composer, and teacher from a family with strong musical traditions.

He began studying the piano with his brother, Tomasz Stroynowski, before graduating from the Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz, where he studied under Professors Tatiana Shebanova and Jarosław Drzewiecki. He later completed postgraduate studies at the University of Stavanger with Professor Erling Eriksen and has participated in masterclasses with internationally renowned pianists including Karl-Peter Kammerlander, Daniel Ingo Rohm, and Paul Gulda.
 

Maciej began learning the piano at the age of five and has since performed regularly as both a soloist and orchestral pianist throughout Poland, Germany, and Norway. He has appeared with ensembles including the Academy of Music Orchestra in Bydgoszcz, the Stavanger Academy of Music Orchestra, and the Jæren Symphony Orchestra.
 

His achievements include winning the International Piano Competition in Moscow in 2010 and becoming a laureate of the 3rd International Music Teachers Competition in Warsaw in 2015.

In 2017, Maciej founded Ålgårdkonsertene, a concert series that presents internationally acclaimed artists to audiences in Norway.
 

Alongside his performing career, he has been active as an educator, serving as a lecturer at the Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz, the University of Stavanger, and numerous music schools throughout Poland and Norway.
 

Maciej Stroynowski continues to combine his work as a concert pianist, chamber musician, composer, teacher, and artistic organizer, contributing actively to the musical life of both Poland and Norway.
