Bulgarian pianist Simeon Goshev, based in Vienna, is widely recognized for his vivid and compelling interpretations, particularly of twentieth- and twenty-first-century repertoire. His performances have earned critical acclaim throughout Europe.
 

During the 2022–2023 season, Simeon appeared as a soloist at many of Europe's leading venues, including the Musikverein Vienna, the Royal Theatre in Warsaw, Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa, and the Mozarteum Salzburg. In January 2022, he released his debut solo album, dedicated to Bulgarian piano music.
 

The past several years have marked an important period in Simeon's career. In 2019, he won the Bösendorfer Competition in Vienna and received Second Prize at Bulgaria's prestigious International Pancho Vladigerov Piano Competition. Later that year, following an extensive concert season across Europe, he made his debut with the Bulgarian National Radio Symphony Orchestra, performing Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 4.
 

Simeon has recorded for Bavarian Radio, Austrian National Radio (ORF), Bulgarian National Radio, and Bulgarian National Television. He is a laureate of numerous international piano competitions, including the Leoš Janáček Competition in Brno, De Bach au Jazz in Paris, the Evangelia Tjiarri Competition in Cyprus, and many others.
 

He completed his musical education at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (MDW), where he studied with distinguished pianists Stefan Vladar, Oleg Maisenberg, and Liliya Zilberstein.
 

Deeply committed to both performance and scholarship, Simeon completed a PhD at the National Academy of Music in Sofia, Bulgaria, in February 2021. His dissertation focused on the ballets of Igor Stravinsky. Later that year, in October 2021, he joined the esteemed faculty of the Piano Department at MDW as a member of its teaching staff.
 

Since 2021, Simeon Goshev has also served as an official Bösendorfer Artist, representing one of the world's most prestigious piano manufacturers.
